Topic 1

SignalRed & pricing

Who we are, what we offer and what it costs.

What is SignalRed?

SignalRed is an offensive security company founded in 2021 (SignalRed LLC, incorporated in Delaware, USA, headquartered in Dubai, UAE). A team of 30+ certified penetration testers delivers three products: the Autonomous AI Pentest (powered by our Breachloom platform), the AI-Augmented Pentest (manual penetration testing, application security assessment and red teaming), and AI-Augmented External Attack Surface Management (EASM). SignalRed is a CREST Pathway organisation.

What is the difference between the Autonomous AI Pentest and the AI-Augmented Pentest?

The Autonomous AI Pentest is run end-to-end by AI agents on our Breachloom platform, with every finding validated and signed off by a human expert; it delivers a report in 1 business day and starts at $3,000. The AI-Augmented Pentest is a premium manual engagement performed by our senior penetration testers who use AI tooling to go wider and deeper; it is scoped and quoted individually and is the right choice for complex business logic, fintech systems, internal networks and red teaming.

How much does a penetration test cost at SignalRed?

The Autonomous AI Pentest starts at $3,000, which is the minimum price for a simple website; the Advanced plan with authenticated, API and business-logic testing starts at $5,000, and enterprise scopes are quoted individually. Manual AI-augmented penetration tests and red teaming are priced per scope after a short discovery call and are significantly more expensive than the autonomous product.

How long does a penetration test take?

An Autonomous AI Pentest can start within 24 hours and the expert-validated report is delivered in 1 business day. Manual AI-augmented engagements are scheduled per scope: the proposal states the exact duration in business days, and a follow-up re-test is included after remediation.

Which methodologies and standards do you follow?

Our testing follows the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide, OWASP API Security Top 10, OWASP ASVS and MASTG for mobile, OSSTMM for infrastructure, and CBEST, TIBER-EU and AASE for red teaming. Reports are structured to satisfy SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and NIST requirements.

Is re-testing included?

Yes. Every Autonomous AI Pentest includes a free re-test window (90 days on Standard, 180 days on Advanced). Every manual engagement includes one free round of remediation testing plus 12 months of support with an updated final report.

Who are SignalRed's customers?

We secure 50+ customers per year across the USA, Europe, MENA and APAC, including NASDAQ-, CME- and LSE-listed companies. A large share are fintech companies, banks, payment providers, gaming and SaaS businesses such as Nexters, Quadcode, Pepperstone, Ecommpay, JitBit, Bevy, Improvado and Inkitt.

Are your penetration testers certified?

Yes. Our team holds OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, OSWP, BSCP, CRTP, CompTIA PenTest+, CEH Practical, KLCP and eJPT certifications. SignalRed is a CREST Pathway organisation, and the team placed in the Top-15 three times and Top-5 once in the HackTheBox Business CTF between 2022 and 2024.

Topic 2

Autonomous AI Pentest

The fully autonomous pentest powered by Breachloom.

What is an autonomous AI penetration test?

An autonomous AI penetration test is a full penetration test in which AI agents perform reconnaissance, planning, exploitation and validation without a human operator driving each step, while certified security experts review and sign off the final report. SignalRed's autonomous pentest runs on our Breachloom platform and delivers an expert-validated, compliance-ready report in 1 business day.

What is Breachloom?

Breachloom is SignalRed's autonomous AI penetration testing platform. It validates the authorized scope and credentials, maps the application, builds a risk-prioritized test plan from OWASP WSTG, OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10, runs hundreds of specialised agents in parallel, records every request through a scope-enforcing evidence proxy, reconciles coverage against captured evidence rather than agent claims, independently reproduces findings, and generates a draft report that a human expert reviews and signs.

What does the autonomous pentest cover?

The Standard plan covers external infrastructure and unauthenticated web application testing with OWASP Top 10 coverage. The Advanced plan adds authenticated web application testing with multiple user roles, REST and GraphQL API security testing, business-logic testing and extended infrastructure coverage. Enterprise scopes can include custom targets, continuous testing and dedicated experts.

How is it different from a vulnerability scanner?

A scanner matches signatures and reports suspected issues, many of them false positives. Breachloom behaves like a penetration tester: it understands the application's features and roles, chains weaknesses into real attack paths, proves exploitability with a working proof-of-concept, and tracks what was and was not tested in an evidence-backed coverage matrix. Only confirmed, reproduced vulnerabilities reach the report.

Are findings validated by humans?

Yes. Every finding is first reproduced by an independent validation agent and then reviewed by a certified SignalRed penetration tester who verifies exploitability, assesses business impact and signs off the final report. Automated drafts and approved reports are clearly distinguished.

How fast can we start and when do we get the report?

Testing can start within 24 hours of scoping and authorization, and the expert-validated PDF report is delivered in 1 business day. Our team responds to requests within 2 hours during business hours.

How much does the autonomous pentest cost?

Pricing starts at $3,000, which is the minimum for a simple website (Standard plan). The Advanced plan starts at $5,000 and the Enterprise plan is quoted individually. There are no hidden fees; the price is agreed up front based on scope.

Is the report suitable for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and customer due diligence?

Yes. Reports include an executive summary, scope and methodology, coverage and limitations, detailed findings with proof-of-concept evidence, risk ratings, remediation guidance and expert sign-off, and are structured for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST CSF 2.0 and other frameworks.

Is it safe to run against production systems?

Yes, with controls. Testing is limited to approved targets only, traffic passes through a scope-enforcing proxy with rate and concurrency limits, destructive techniques are disabled unless you explicitly allow them, you can define constraints and known non-issues, and any accounts, files or records created during testing are cleaned up or reported.

What do we need to provide?

Only the target URLs or IP ranges and written authorization to test them. Optionally you can provide test accounts for each user role, API specifications, source code and documentation, and any testing constraints — the more context you share, the deeper the coverage.

Topic 3

Manual penetration testing

AI-augmented penetration testing by our senior team.

What is included in a SignalRed penetration test?

A SignalRed penetration test includes scoping, a written proposal, reconnaissance, automated and manual vulnerability discovery, exploitation with proof-of-concept evidence, a report with an executive summary and prioritized remediation plan, one free re-test and 12 months of support. Results are delivered as a PDF report and through our PTaaS dashboard with Jira integration.

What is the difference between black box, grey box and white box penetration testing?

Black box testing starts with zero knowledge of the target and simulates an external attacker. Grey box testing starts with limited access, for example a regular user or junior developer account, and focuses on privilege escalation. White box testing starts with full information including source code and architecture and is the most thorough form of security audit. SignalRed offers all three.

What does 'AI-augmented' penetration testing mean?

AI-augmented means certified human penetration testers lead the engagement while AI tooling — including our Breachloom and EASM platforms — accelerates reconnaissance, scanning, coverage tracking and reporting. Humans decide what to test and verify every result; AI makes them faster and more thorough.

Which methodologies do you use?

We follow the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide, OWASP API Security Top 10, OWASP ASVS, OWASP MASTG for mobile applications and OSSTMM for network testing, extended with our own checks for business logic, financial logic and modern cloud stacks.

How much does a manual penetration test cost and how long does it take?

Manual penetration tests are quoted per scope after a short discovery call; the proposal states the fixed price and duration in business days. They are premium engagements priced above our Autonomous AI Pentest, which starts at $3,000 for a simple website.

Can the report be used for compliance?

Yes. Our reports are accepted for SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and customer security questionnaires, and include the methodology description, scope, findings with risk ratings and remediation status after re-testing.

Topic 4

Application security testing

Web, mobile and API assessments.

What does application security testing cover?

SignalRed's application security testing covers web applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android), REST and GraphQL APIs and the source code behind them. We test every endpoint, API method and route for injection, authentication and authorization flaws, business-logic abuse, cryptographic weaknesses, client-side issues and financial-logic errors.

Which standards does the assessment follow?

Assessments follow the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide, OWASP API Security Top 10, OWASP ASVS and OWASP MASTG, combined with SAST and DAST tooling whose output is manually verified to eliminate false positives.

Do you test business logic and payment flows?

Yes. Business and financial logic is a core focus: double spending, rounding errors, transaction amount tampering, race conditions, mass assignment, IDOR and privilege escalation. Many of our customers are fintech companies, banks and payment gateways that need this depth for PCI DSS and regulatory requirements.

What do we receive at the end?

You receive a PDF report with an executive summary, a description of the inventory and data flows, every finding with risk level, exploitation steps and remediation advice, plus access to our PTaaS dashboard. One free re-test confirms that fixes are effective and the final report reflects remediation status.

How is this different from the Autonomous AI Pentest?

The Autonomous AI Pentest (from $3,000) is run by AI agents with expert validation and is ideal for fast, compliance-driven coverage. The application security assessment is a manual, AI-augmented engagement led by senior testers and is recommended for complex applications, fintech logic and source-code review.

Topic 5

Red teaming

Adversary simulation across the full kill chain.

What is red teaming and how is it different from a penetration test?

Red teaming is a goal-driven adversary simulation: instead of finding as many vulnerabilities as possible, the red team pursues business-critical objectives such as accessing customer data or payment systems while remaining undetected, across the full kill chain including social engineering, external compromise, lateral movement and persistence. A penetration test is broader in coverage but narrower in realism.

Which red teaming frameworks does SignalRed follow?

Our engagements are aligned with CBEST, TIBER-EU and AASE and use MITRE ATT&CK tactics, techniques and procedures to simulate realistic threat actors. We finish with retrospective sessions with your SOC to turn the results into detection and response improvements.

Who should order a red team engagement?

Red teaming is designed for organisations with a mature security programme and an existing SOC or detection capability — typically banks, fintechs, payment providers and large enterprises — that want to validate how well their people, processes and technology withstand a real attack.

How long does a red team engagement take and what does it cost?

Red team engagements typically run for several weeks and are quoted individually after scoping; they are our most premium service and priced well above a standard penetration test. The proposal fixes the objectives, rules of engagement, duration and price.

Is red teaming safe for production?

Yes. Rules of engagement, a white team contact on your side, pre-agreed deconfliction procedures and non-destructive techniques keep the simulation controlled. Any artefacts created during the engagement are removed and documented.

Topic 6

Attack surface management

Continuous perimeter discovery and AI pentesting.

What is External Attack Surface Management (EASM)?

External Attack Surface Management is the continuous discovery, inventory, monitoring and testing of every internet-facing asset an organisation owns — domains, subdomains, IP addresses, cloud services, web applications and APIs — to find exposures before attackers do.

What makes SignalRed's EASM 'AI-augmented'?

In addition to classic asset discovery and vulnerability scanning, SignalRed EASM launches AI pentest agents from our Breachloom platform against newly discovered or changed perimeter assets. Findings are confirmed with proof-of-concept evidence and triaged by our analysts, so you get verified vulnerabilities, not scanner noise.

What does the EASM platform discover and monitor?

Domains and subdomains, A/AAAA records and IP ranges, open ports and network services, web services on non-standard ports, technologies and versions, certificates, exposed credentials and misconfigurations. Dashboards show key metrics, vulnerabilities by severity and status, exposure trends over time and assets pending approval.

How is EASM different from a vulnerability scanner?

A vulnerability scanner checks a list of assets you already know. EASM first discovers assets you may not know about (shadow IT, forgotten subdomains, staging environments), continuously tracks changes, and in SignalRed's case adds AI pentesting and human triage on top of scanning.

How is EASM priced?

SignalRed EASM is a subscription priced by the size of your external attack surface, with optional supervision by our analysts who develop custom vulnerability templates and triage findings.

Topic 7

Continuous pentest (PTaaS)

Penetration testing as a service.

What is Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS)?

PTaaS is a delivery model in which penetration testing is provided continuously through a platform instead of as one-off projects. SignalRed's PTaaS gives you a real-time findings dashboard, re-testing on demand, Jira integration and a dedicated team that tests your assets throughout the year.

How does continuous pentesting differ from an annual pentest?

An annual pentest gives a point-in-time snapshot and leaves new releases untested for months. Continuous pentesting pre-allocates a team that tests every significant change, re-verifies fixes and keeps your exposure window short, without re-booking, re-scoping and re-contracting each time.

What does the PTaaS platform include?

Live progress reporting, a prioritized findings dashboard, exploitation evidence, remediation guidance, a one-click re-test request workflow, PDF report export and Jira integration. The same dashboard is used for manual and autonomous (Breachloom) assessments.

Can SignalRed act as our external security team?

Yes. Beyond continuous testing we can implement Secure SDLC and DevSecOps processes, run external attack surface management and provide vCISO consulting — effectively acting as your outsourced security department.

How is PTaaS priced?

PTaaS is priced as an annual subscription based on the size of your scope and the amount of dedicated testing time, agreed in a proposal after a discovery call.

Topic 8

Secure SDLC

DevSecOps and our ASOC platform.

What is a Secure SDLC?

A Secure Software Development Life Cycle embeds security activities — threat modelling, secure coding standards, SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning and security testing — into every phase of software development, so vulnerabilities are prevented or caught before release.

What is an ASOC platform?

Application Security Orchestration and Correlation (ASOC) aggregates the output of security scanners (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC and container scanning), deduplicates and correlates findings, pushes them to defect trackers and produces actionable dashboards that prioritize remediation and improve time-to-fix.

How does SignalRed implement DevSecOps?

We integrate scanners into your CI/CD pipelines through our ASOC platform API, add custom testing scenarios for your stack, connect results to Jira or similar trackers, define security gates and train your developers. Ongoing advisory and security assessment as a service keep the process effective.

Which tools do you integrate?

Both open-source and commercial SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets and container scanners, chosen to match your languages and infrastructure. The ASOC platform is tool-agnostic and correlates results from any source.

Topic 9

Methodology & reporting

How we test and what you receive.

What is the goal of a SignalRed penetration test?

To identify vulnerabilities in your applications and infrastructure, demonstrate the real-world risk they pose through controlled exploitation, and deliver prioritized short-term and long-term recommendations — then verify the fixes in a follow-up re-test.

Do you use automated tools?

Yes, as a starting point. Automated testing runs on the SignalRed EASM platform, which combines vulnerability scanning with agentic AI pentesting from our Breachloom platform. Every automated result is manually verified; false positives and mis-rated risks are removed before anything reaches the report.

What does the final report contain?

Testing goals and threat model, an inventory of the assessed area, every vulnerability with risk level and remediation advice, the exploitation process and reached objectives, remediation status after re-testing, an overall security assessment with vulnerability statistics, and a prioritized list of general and specific recommendations.

How are updates communicated during the engagement?

Weekly informal updates via chat or email plus live progress in the PTaaS dashboard. Critical findings are reported immediately so you can start remediation before the final report.
